I love computers, horror, and Linux (I use Artix btw). I like programming; I know a few programming languages. My current text editor is neovim. English is my native language, but I know some German (Hallo. Ich bin Endode.). I'm a game developer. I have my own lore, but it hasn't really been expressed anywhere. I have a secret game project (Flutterby) I am working on. AustonBluBoy is my best friend. i CAn Act QuiTE SiLLY SomEtimES!1!!11 On my puter!1!1

Updates/Posts!1!?!?

This site was good, not amazing, it OBVIOUSLY had issues, but it was good. I liked it, but now it's getting replaced. It's getting replaced by a site generated via the Hugo static site generator. That'll make it easier for me to make posts, it's a lot easier and just better using Hugo. This site won't be updated much anymore, although for the time being, it still serves some use, like housing all my links and showing my YouTube videos. Sorry, if you couldn't tell I'm not good at writing like this, although I hope to improve a little bit. The new site is at https://endode.gitlab.io/, it already has some posts. Which that site isn't finished yet, there will be modifications made to it. I don't know what else to say, other than this website is being discontinued. One last thing, is anyone actually reading this? I don't know if anyone actually goes here and reads stuff, I wouldn't think so as I don't update stuff here that often. If someone would be interested in me, then they'd probably follow me somewhere like Twitter, YouTube, or maybe be in my or Auston's Discord Server. -Endode (11/25/2023)

I haven't posted anything here for a while. I've still been working on my game, I love the way it's been coming together. There is still a lot of work to do, but I'm happy with it. Definitely a lot more stuff has been done when compared to last time, although, there still is not much gameplay; I still need to implement that stuff. Luckily, I've done work on some systems to help with that. Since last time, I've uploaded and streamed to YouTube some. I think some people mistake what I want to do, I think some people think I dream about being a semi-popular content creator. That's not exactly what I want, I mean, that would be cool, but that's not what I'm aiming for. I really want to be a popular indie game developer. I want to make games and have a community around them. I wanna see people play and enjoy my games, I wanna see people make fanart and their projects, their own fangames. The YouTube/content creator is just on the side, and I don't care if that content isn't super polished or really polished at all, there are problems with the content I've uploaded, but that's okay, I'm not trying to be perfect. You can think of Auston (AustonBluBoy) being the content creator that tries his best to make amazing content, whilist I'm just the game developer, someone who tries to make amazing games and that cares some about YouTube, but not as much as Auston does. I hope people are excited about my game, but also sort of not, because the first demo or first version I'll release won't be polished, it'll just be a concept really, an early version without much polish. I don't wanna get people excited then let them down. But I don't know, maybe I think it'll be worse than it is because I'm artist, it's my creation. Now I wonder if anyone reads this text, like, does anyone actually visit this site? I mean, just look at the thumbnails for the YouTube videos below, they get stretched depending on the aspect ratio of the window. I guess my YouTube content is like this website, not polished, just pretty basic. I feel bad for typing so much text, but it's not like I'm forcing people to read it. -Endode (7/7/2023)

It's 2023 when I'm typing this. I never posted anything about the new year, this is the first post this year. I've spent time messing around with neovim and configs. I'm happy with it, I want to use neovim for everything. I'm even typing this in neovim right now. But anyways, more computer nerd stuff, I feel like ever since I switched to Linux, I've learned a lot more about how computers and operating systems (and kernels) work. I feel really smart, and that makes me really happy. I'm glad that I've learned. I'm still working on my secret game project; I plan on releasing a demo of the game sometime this year. Currently, I'm working on engine mechanic framework stuff, the game is being made in Godot 4, but I still need to lay the groundwork so I can build the experience around it. There aren't really any assets for the game yet, only placeholder ones. There is still so much more I need to do, got stuff to do in the departments of programming, game design, story, and assets. It will definitely be a bit before a demo comes out, I'll try to tease it. Another computer thing, I had originally used the Awesome window manager, then I had switched to dwm, and now, I have switched back to Awesome; and it's been Awesome. I don't know what else to type about, and this is getting long. -Endode (2/4/2023)

I haven't typed anything here for a while, it was Christmas as I typed this. Merry Christmas! I am still working on my secret game project, I've been making progress and thinking of lots of different ideas to possibly put into the game at some point. My current big goal for this project, is to release a demo of the game sometime next year (2023). Maybe that'll be one of my New Years Resolutions? We'll see. -Endode (12/25/2022)
